The delivery took 8 days, and the finish is nice. The writing feel is good, and it says it's made in Japan even though it came from China.

The mechanical pencil is beautiful and super functional. The continuous writing mechanism is a great innovation from Mitsubishi. When you're ready to use it, just press until the graphite comes out, and your writing style will release and rotate the graphite. Uni has matched the continuous writing level of pens. Highly recommended. I recommend both the product and the seller.

The mechanism works with a gentle push, and you can really feel the difference compared to a regular pencil.

Awesome mechanical pencil. Looks totally real. It feels great in your hand and has a nice solid feel. There's a little eraser on top that works really well, leaving no marks on the paper. Highly recommended.

The pencil is really good, it has a nice weight. The rotation system is pretty cool, but when using it for drawing, it doesn't rotate much because you need to apply some pressure for it to do so. Still, I liked it a lot and would recommend buying it.

A really cool mechanical pencil. It's very nice and seems sturdy, although I still need to check how durable the lead rotation mechanism is. I'm really happy with it so far.

The quality is just like the original. The Kuru Toga mechanism is great. I think it would be nice if it came with some leads too.

This is the second one I’ve bought; it’s a really technical mechanical pencil that provides a smooth line when writing.

This mechanical pencil is definitely worth it. It's recommended and essential for writing because of its rotary mechanism, which keeps the tip even so you don’t have to rotate the pencil in your hand. It also gives better contrast to the text thanks to the pencil's tip. It's a great option if you need a mechanical pencil for comfortable writing.

Cool! 👍...the mechanism turns the lead each time you press the tip down while writing, so it wears evenly.

This pencil is really beautiful with a lovely metallic/shimmery finish that's gorgeous. Just a heads up, it doesn't come with lead, so you'll need to pick that up separately.

Works as expected but I recommend including bubble wrap with the pencil since it has delicate parts.

Good product; the material is nice, but it's not quite at the level of a Graphgear 1000 or even a 500. The Kuru Toga system in this pencil is interesting, though.

Good quality. Automatic rotation is useful for Eastern writing (small strokes). In Western continuous writing, the difference is minimal.

Great mechanical pencil! This isn't my first time buying a mechanical pencil; I've had ones from other brands, but I didn't have a 0.5mm before. The mechanism works really well, and it feels nice to hold. I'm happy with my purchase.

Great pencil, this is my second purchase for colored leads. It works just as described, with a nice rotation every time I press down while writing. I've never found anything comparable. Everything is fantastic!

Having used mechanical pencils since the 70s, I can confidently say that the Uni Kuru Toga pencils are exactly what I've been looking for. They create a clean, dark line that's clear without needing to press hard, so you won't get those unwanted marks on the paper. Both the HB and 2B leads deliver a great line that's easy to see and offers a nice, controlled feel.

I really love green, and this one is just that. If you're going to use it a lot, especially for work, I'd recommend the Kurutoga Roulette. It feels really solid in your hand.

I really loved the mechanical pencil! If you're an artist, definitely grab one. I used it for drawing and writing, and it's just amazing. I've tried comparing it with other mechanical pencils I have, and you can really feel the precision!

It's a really high-quality pencil, the tip protector works well, just like the lead rotation. It writes and draws great, and it's perfect for shading lines since the tip stays sharp. I'm really impressed!

It's a solid pencil for what it's worth! It gets the job done! It took a little time to get the lead out, but it ended up working! The rotation mechanism can be a bit iffy sometimes, but that's okay with me <3

It's surprisingly great! It's cool that it automatically returns when you write, thanks to the shock. If you keep writing continuously, it won't return.

Just because it's from Japan doesn't mean it's automatically great; it’s not much different from stuff made in China.

The pencil is nice. I use 2B leads with it. You can see they get sharpened, but sometimes you need to twist the pencil for them to write properly. It's likely just an issue with the leads.

This Kuru Toga is definitely a step up from the standard version! It writes smoothly, and the \\\"slide pipe\\\" feature is really handy for preventing breaks or punctures. The rotation speed is nice, but I still prefer the consistent feel of the basic model.

This advanced version, along with the Advance Upgrade (which is better because it has a lower center of gravity) and the Dive (super cool technique that eliminates the need to fuss with adjustments), is my favorite doodling and scribbling tool. I still want to get a 1017, which is the metal version, and then I’ll be all set.

100% Japanese product. I tried it out by writing a bit, and all the letters stay the same thickness. It's fantastic for people who write a lot and for students! No doubt it's a companion I'll take with me everywhere.

The automatic sharpening feature works perfectly! Even after writing several pages of cursive, the line thickness stays consistent. In the fourth photo, you can see how the lead tip wears down uniformly after a long writing session—it's not a perfect cone but has a nice gentle slope. The balance is just like the Pipe Slide Kuru Toga model since both use the 2x speed rotation mechanism. The main differences from the Pipe Slide are its looks, material (it's metal instead of plastic), and it’s a bit heavier. It’s a fantastic pencil, but I personally lean towards the plastic version since it’s lighter and my hands don’t tire as quickly. If you enjoy that premium metal feel, though, this is definitely a solid choice.
