I'm pretty sure these aren't fake, and the braking is really solid. I've tried Shimano Deore XT, and while they are better, the MT200s are still quite good. If you have Tektro brakes, this is a significant upgrade!

They seem to be of good quality, have a nice weight, and are not plastic. They look durable and come with red brake pads and a separator. They are ready to use. It comes with anchor bolts. I'm satisfied, they're for a friend and he will like them. Ideal for upgrading from mechanical to hydraulic brakes. You just need to take care of them and keep them clean, free from contaminants on the pads and discs. Always clean with a disc and pad degreaser, or use isopropyl alcohol or regular alcohol.

Everything is great, I just recommend them more for frames 27.5 and below or 29s and below since with 29 m and above the hose doesn't reach due to the internal wiring. External wiring would be needed, but it doesn't affect its function at all.

The product arrived in good shape and well packaged, and the front brake worked well. The rear brake isn't as quick as my mechanical brake setup (Deore levers with Tourney calipers, which are solid), but I'm planning to make a few adjustments since it's common for rear hydraulic brakes to not be as responsive as the front ones due to hose length. I believe the hose came in the shorter length of 1.4m, so a few extra centimeters would have been better, but it didn't affect usability significantly when turning the handlebars.

Great quality original product! I did some tests and found that the clamps close evenly on both sides, which is awesome. During milling, the clamps close uniformly without putting too much pressure on the disk—very impressive!

The tolerence of the mounting holes on the brake caliper is out so it could not fit. Had to file it wider to get it installed. These brakes are suppose to be an upgrade to existing mechanical brakes and should have been a simple swap. These are likely not genuine Shimano brakes.

The hydraulics are great, I've bought similar ones for different bikes before, and they last a long time.

The delivery was quick, and I really like it! Installation was also easy. The only thing is that the rear brake wire is about 20 to 30 cm longer than needed, so I’ll probably have to cut it later.
