This is a great set of brushes! There are a couple of brushes that I'm not sure what to use for, but 90% of them are fantastic for a makeup artist. They are all synthetic, with a nice edge, soft and well-packed. A few bristles were sticking up a bit, but they came out easily with tweezers. Each brush comes in its own packaging, and there are three double-sided brushes.
