This is my go-to seat, and even though it leans more towards road style, it works great on my hardtail MTB. This is my second one because I loved the first one so much that I wanted a backup just in case. On bumpy downhill blue trails (no dropper post), I can easily slide back and forth — it feels just right, not sticky but not slippery either. The cushioning is awesome. Since switching to this seat, I haven't had any issues with tailbone or perineum pain.

Selim has really good material for the price. It's quite thin, lightweight, and comfortable. Compared to standard bike seats, it's much better. If you're looking for a soft seat, this isn't it, though I'd suggest other models since you'll want to use bike shorts with foam padding.
