While the back cover could fit a bit tighter, I have a Stanley (basic range) where it fits even more loosely. A super positive point that I think no one mentioned is that once you stop pressing the button to retract the blade, it locks in both directions. Not only does it not extend until you press it again, but the blade also won’t come out even if you pull on it. Another quality highlight is that the blade's ratchets inside the cutter, which slide along the metal guide, are made of metal, not plastic, and they secure on both sides of the guide. This is different from my professional Stanley and Dewalt, which only secure on one side of the guide.
