Top cover gets hot in case u plan on opening it after boiling, handle remains cool to touch. Visually pleasing and hypnotic like watching a lava lamp.\n

Find it a little smaller as my old one is 1.8L. Just 1st trial boil to discard water as usual. Seem working and hope it can last longer. I always love the blue color light up and auto off for safety.

delivered very fast, intact but I think really overpowered, waste of cling wrap (pic3).\nbought as replacement for my older one ( on the left in pic4) also power pac but design is a little different. problem with old one is scale on base build up quickly and needs descaling every other day.\n\nhope new one will stay good for longer
