The handle has a very smooth and shining finishing. The files is truly metal and very rigid. Each side has a different file pattern for fine or coarse filing, i think. Very suitable as a gift due to the cork packaging in a nice presentable sliding box.

Quality:top-notch. Sharp clean and effective filing. Recommend the slightly longer version. Texture:with two distinct patterns, rough (interwoven pattern) and finer finishing touch (fish scale pattern). Effectiveness:very quickly finish the job. One CIF the best nail file I have used.
