Interesting that they changed the shape of the 13W MyCare bulb. If you need varying light intensities and do not like the inconsistency of some dimmer switches, a 4W, 8W and 13W combination is good to have as all the bulbs are of different shapes. 13W is good for detailed artwork but can be intense for long periods. For home lighting I recommend it for the larger lamps only.

Packaged very well, in perfect condition. Light is very bright (although my poor photography does not do it justice) but diffused and suitable for light boxes or general room lighting. It is very wide so do make sure your lamp has the necessary allowance.

Well packaged and in perfect condition. As the name implies it packs a wallop. Useful for photography - I replaced my stock bulbs with these and they really eliminate shadows. For home lighting I suggest it be used only with the largest and brightest of lamps hung way above eye level.
