There is a little metal thing at the base of the kettle, possibly to heat up the water. Otherwise the kettle is stainless steel and clean cut inside. The temperate indicator is good too.

First of all, it looks sleek and modern. Secondly, it reaches boiling point within 5 minutes. Thirdly, the price point is pocket friendly. it's a good buy.\n\nReview after 2 weeks: I've only used to boil water twice and there's already a rust stain mark inside the kettle. Customer service said to use lemon to wash off stain but it didn't work. Sadly, I am returning this good buy. So, Good Bye kettle.

Good Kettle. Little bit loud but nothing more then normal and also was a little bigger then I anticipated but I think that’s due to it being insulated so that it’s cool to touch which is awesome - so safe! Love the keep warm feature too.

boil less than 5 mins on max volume. it's sturdy. the only drawback is the rubber ring on the cover, not sure what material is that, safe food grade silicon? the wire is just about long enough (less than 100cm), thank God!

Delivered quickly, and kettle boils quickly, with good insulation so the outside is just warm rather than hot. Lid opens up all the way, and the internal is a cylinder without any exposed heating element, so is easy to clean. Display is also good.
