However when I open them to cook Bak Kut teh was very disappointed as more than half of them are not ribs but more of chuck of meat as per the 1st picture below unlike their advertised picture. The 2nd picture is the ribs that I expected & expect all should be like. Thus I have changed the rating as their advertised photo is misleading. \n

I was a bit shocked when there was two small packets. compressed with three ribs and it was very bloody. but after that when I used it to cook soup it was perfectly fine. a little bit expensive though

I don’t dare to use it as it came defrosted and lots of blood in the pack. Wasn’t packed in dry ice so I am unsure how long it is sitting outside the fridge.

$6.60/300g works out to $22/kg. Bought 6 packs. Good sizes. However some “ribs” are just meat chunks, not like spare ribs, hence taste for those chunks are not as good after cooking for bah kut teh bec they’ll be “hard”.
