I don't know why it has a lot of green on my tomatoes. I feel like they are quite unripe and not ready to be used. this is a little inconvenient because I was intending to use it with steam fish. \n\nI may just cook it even though it is quite green. arrived cold probably placed in the fridge before delivery. so I also kept them in the fridge.\n\nSafety: While green tomatoes contain higher levels of alkaloids (like tomatine), the amount in a few \"slightly green\" tomatoes is harmless for most people. Cooking them also helps, though it doesn't completely remove the alkaloids.\n\nto ripen them quickly just keep it with fruits like bananas and apples in a brown bag. and kept out of fridge.
