This needle came in a plastic wrap of its own. I don’t need a threader to string it. I initially thought it would be difficult to open the split but it was easy. A tiny gap appears as soon as I pressed against the center of needle. Tested with 4mm beads and I think it’s the smallest bead the needle can take when doing double-thread stringing.

Needle came in clear plastic wrap. Now I can string the thread without a threader. 4mm beads easily go through the double thread. Great to be able to find helpful DIY tools here.
