Superb quality sound, different from XM4 which is a bit of a shame since the XM4 folds more easily, bit otherwise the sound balance on this is really very good. ANC also works very well, syncs with the Sound Conmect App for easy tuning of settings, swiping function on the headphones takes some time to get used to but after that is good. Colour is also attractive and my daughter loves it. Best of all snagged it at 280+ on sale, worth every cent!

The external box is a bit dented, ok with me as it is for self use.

I got the xm5 on a good promo deal on 8.8. I was surprised I received the item 2 days on 10.8 via speed post. Appreciate the fast delivery. There was a dent on the box. But I m ok as everything in the box was brand new condition. I owned the previous xm4 and was looking for the unique midnight blue color for xm5. The headphone is lighter and more comfortable (cushion and materials) than the previous xm4. The previous xm4 felt a bit tight. I did not feel much difference in the sound when it was on Bluetooth mode. But I did feel a big difference when it’s plugged into a 3.5mm iMac port for lossless music. The xm5 totally blows my mind on quality of sound compared to xm4 on lossless music using the 3.5mm port. Overall it’s a good purchase and I will strongly recommend xm5.

My first time buying Sony headphone and I was not wrong! Superb sound and allows 2 simultaneously connected devices. Packaging is good with free stand.\nArrived weeks early! Was really surprised!\nTake note the mat black just leave a lot of oil marks so needed good wipe/towel. Its plastic but doesn't feel cheap.

Great value for money, as compared to AirPods Max the noise cancellation is not that fantastic. Apple one still have a better result. But Sony have a lignter weight, as Airpods Max is heavier
