Good sized metals sheets with strong 3M tape. Not magnetized, it usually isn't anyway. after applying adhesive, it's very thin that it would not cut on the sides. it's a smooth finish plate but comes with a protective film.

I haven't started using it yet, so I don't know if it's okay or not. I plan to place it in a magnetic area, so I won't have to stick it on, which will prevent any damage to things. I'm worried that it might chip when not in use.
