Buy this kettle due to my existing Morries MS-2020GK with me for years until recently got fuse blown repeatedly issue. Very pleased with this new purchase of Morries MS-8080GK, it worked perfectly. Some more this kettle was powered by Strix technology with safer design, I will use it with gratitude to make it sustainable, hahaha…. Recommended this model, cheap and good.

Ordered on 5 Oct & received on 7 Oct. \nPrompt delivery & property wrapped. \n\nIt was smaller than my existing Morris 2l glass kettle, the wire is a bit shorter & the water level marking was a bit off & difficult to read if using left hand. Unlike my existing 2l one, it has 2 water level marking on either side which is easier to read & at the right placing. \n

I'm extremely pleased w this product and brand. better than the one I bought from Choice w brand name starting w D (can't rmb the name) because it lasted longer! (D brand failed terribily, some burns at the bottom, started rusting after just a few weeks, there was always this metallic taste, never buying that again!) \n\nhave been testing this for a few weeks, no rust or burn. cools down and heats up very fast. recommend purchase!

Excellent design!\n1) Compact and easy to carry this 1.7litre glass kettle.\n2) Has a filter which FULLY covered. No gap unlike other brands and design. Thus, no insects can enter the jug.\n3) Lid can open fully so that it is easy to refill water.\n4) Most importantly, no spillage at all when boiling. The lid opens in the centre. Unlike some brands, the lid opens until the edge of the glass. After sometime, due to wear and tear, the spring on the lid lost its tension and thus left the cover ajar and not tightly closed. This, will cause spillage. Whereas, this Morries MS8080GK is cleverly designed and no leakage when boiling or poring water. It is not noisy when boiling too.\n5) The base is flat and stable even when boiling.\n6) Aesthetically, of course, extremely calming when boiling water while looking at the blue light. The metal glossy finishing adds to the exclusive outlook of this kettle.\n7) Only need to boil 1st initial time to get rid of the smell. 2nd boil onwards, no more smell and can continue to drink it.\n\nOverall, I am delighted with this purchase. Highly recommended. Prompt delivery too. Just took 3 working days to be delivered. Item works fine and no defect at all. Thank you so much.

Good price and good product! \n\nI found it outside on my shoe rack when i opened the door in the morning though. Checked the system, the parcel was left there around 10 plus pm the previous night. I did not receive any text on the delivery. \n\nThough the delivery was within 3 days, it is just irresponsible to leave such parcel (box was wrapped in clear plastic) on the shoe rack late in the night without texting or ringing the doorbell to inform.
