Tested with CrystalDiskMark.\nEnclosure used with provided ugreen data cable with my samsung evo 850 ssd.\n\nTried 2 different laptops, different (usb 3.0) ports, reinserted cable, tested cable usb-c end up/down orientation just in case. Only got max 40mbps i.e. usb 2.0 speed.\n\nCheck reddit and apparently a few issues of the ugreen cable provided is either 1) faulty 2) is actually usb 2.0 cable. Despite the enclosure being good quality chip and supporting usb 3.0 speeds.\n\nI removed ugreen-provided data cable and used an old data cable from my samsung t3 ext. ssd drive, boom - problem solved. 400mbps speed.\n\nI’ll leave it to you to draw your own conclusions.\n\nFor context, i own an older version of the same enclosure, cable is integrated to usb-a end. That one worked at usb 3.0 so I was expecting the same standard. Too bad, I was wrong. Luckily i have extra high speed data cables at home.

Product well packed and delivery was faster than expected. Very easy to install; compatible and worked very well with my sshd retrieved from old laptop. Overall very happy with this purchase.

A simple ABS plastic case to turn your 2.5 inch SATA HDD or SSD to an external drive. The slide out cover flexes a bit.

Item received as described. Bought the set that comes with casing. I am very very impressed with the casing. Will update here once after trying the enclosure.

Item fit well. Quality is not bad for the price. Only need to be patient with delivery lead time. Other than that, it's a good buy.

Much of the quality of this product is in the brand and relies on the trust one has placed with it. \nWith my past experience with this HDD case, the external plastic can & does scratch. I'm hoping that the newer version has improved on this. \nTransfer speeds are good enough, have not measured it, but according to Windows, I can get up to 50Mb/s transfer speeds, depending on the type of files.\nOverall happy with the product.

Theres thermal pads at the sides which is great but its a bit too thick, kinda scary when you have to take out the drive. Would be perfect if it was maybe 1mm thinner but still a great enclosure for sure

The design of this hard disk enclosure is good, easy to open it and put in the hard disk.\n\nI was glad that it promised a free gift (Tie Wire Nylon Tape) upon order. Also, it was indicated on the parcel label. But it is NOT in the parcel. Disappointed.
