Sony's signature bass, bass is strong like always, with LDAC individual instruments can be heard. ANC is wonderful, with music on can barely hear any environment sound. Ambient sound is 85% natural, and won't be hearing own voice when speaks. Casing is matt, very nice to hold. My right earbud deplete faster than my left, when I got it out from the box it was L43%/ R36%. Hope it will last.

Fits very snugly in ears, comes with multiple memory foam earbud sizes, sound quality is good as well. also makes a sound when you tap the sides to make quick functions harder to mispress

Item received 3 days after order placed, the delivery can be improved. When first open the box I thought seller send the wrong colour, it does not looks like a silver to me though. The quality is top notch, the ANC is superb, the customization using the app is intuitive and easy to follow as well. It come with 3 sizes of spare ear tips, from SS, S, to L, which I supposed the already installed ear tip we should be M size. The fit is good and help in cancelling the noice. The case is consider compact and fit into the pocket easily, although it's a bit bigger than like Airpod case. Overall happy with the purchase!

Updated my Sony from M3 to M5. The ear phones have gotten better and better. The noise cancelling remains excellent. And it now fits better 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

don't really like the memory foam tips, not very comfortable for my small ears. other than that it's pretty okay. bass is not that deep also. but voice cancellation is acceptable.

Excellent product have been aiming this for a while. The 8hr battery life is a godsent

Quite the disappointment.\nANC issue: the ANC was quite good when I first got it. However, that is until you have the latest firmware update. That will downgrade the ANC ability as always, and now it can't even block the noise of my air-condition like before.\nBattery issue: I was one of the XM4 first batch user. Therefore, naturally my XM4 suffer from the battery draining like many. Sony did give me a free replacement service of the product before. However, i now thinking XM5 might have the same problem as it's previous product. The reason for that was because i pull out both of them at the same time and one of losing power quicker than the other one. Which is exactly the same problem on XM4 before.\nSound quality: The vocal of a song is better and clearer than XM4, but the BASS is still not my personal preference. In my opinion, the bass is blur, light and thin. I'm not professionals, just saying i don't really like it.\nComfortably: Terrible as Sony always was. Yes, Sony reduce the size of the mainbody, so the entrance of ear meatus will not be painful due to the size. However, Sony want ensure the quality of the PNC and air isolation. It will still giving a tremendous amount pressure against ear canal.

Well packed, fast delivery and very smooth ordering process. have not used yet, but reviews are certainly convincing that music quality is excellent. Local set with Sony factory warranty.

The casing and earphones are small and light making them comfortable to wear for long periods. The sound is great and the noise cancelling works very well.

Upgraded from XM4 to XM5 due to battery issue with the former and it's been great so far. I hope the new one doesn't have the same battery issue.
