1st time ordering, it is all good. 2 big 400g unagi, 1 big mackerel & a pk of edamame. Delivered in a well sealed foam box, in frozen condition. \n19/4 update: halved one unagi, placed on alum foil in oven toaster, 160deg slowly heat, about 20mins, while I cook other dishes. It is delicious, warm with sticky sauce!! used scissor to snip into bite size.No bones, easy to eat. Premium quality unagi fillet.,

The delivery came at 5pm , no call beforehand. It would be nice if the delivery man can give an estimated time frame because i was waiting since morning and cancelled a morning appt for the delivery. The items came in a nice clean new box which can keep for future use. This is a bonus point. A ice pack came with it but it was pierced, either because too much water filled or by sthg sharp. This point hope seller can take note because by right this ice pack can be reused too. So it is now wasted. Usually this seller needs at least $80 for free delivery but that time i bought any amt also can, even 1 pack of unagi also can. This is great because not every family can finish $80 of food. Imagine every seller needs $80 min purchase aka i need to spend $80 on pork, $80 on fish/seafood, $80 chicken. So i hope frozen food sellers will do the same as this seller and allow lower quantum. My freezer also tiny so cant get too much at one go. The food all frozen when rcvd except for the big salmon, about 10% thawed at the sides. But i ok , just dumped into freezer asap. Overall highly recommended based on price, logistics. After i try the food i add review. \n

The chilled Sakana Japanese seafood selections arrived flawlessly presented in an insulated bag, accompanied by an ice pack. Received the items, the delivery man left without press the doorbell. So when the time I saw my phone text already more than 1 hour if seafood stuffs better pressed the doorbell or call me to quickly received it put in the refrigerator, otherwise it can turn bad after spending so much on it.

Seriously I dunno how many you can actually find in local supermarkets that it’s from Japan.unless you go to Mie prefecture and find a local eatery which slaughter the eel at the kitchen and grill it, forget about those really authentic taste. Just lucky that this one doesn’t come in mala
