This is my 3rd time buying this brand of butter. On previous occasions the deliveryman was courtous enough to ring the doorbell to alert that the time sensitive items have been delivered. This time round there was non.\n\nNo doubt an email and an sms were sent to inform me that delivery would be made within the next 15 mins from the time of the messages. But I was taking a nap when the messages were sent and had only read them 3 hours later when I had woken up. I had informed my wife earlier to be on the alert.\n\nDelivery was made at 3.14 pm. I woke up and saw the messages at around 6.45 pm. My wife was in the living room the whole time and didn't hear any doorbell ringing. The items were left on the shoe rack outside the house for more than 3 hours before they were retrieved. \n\nIt would be unwise to assume just because a message or two was it will be read. It seems like it has become a thing with platform delivery personnel using non-contact delivery as an excuse, to drop\nand go without even bothering to ring the doorbell.\n\nThey maybe stressed and rushing for time. But it just take a second or two to let the house members (if any) know that the items has been physically delivered and left outside. It's just basic courtesy.
