Easy to cook with and perfect for salads or curries. High in fibre and low in fat. Half a can counts as 1 of 5 portions of vegetables per day.

Chickpeas are competitively priced. The can doesn’t have a ring lid so you will need to prepare a can opener. The can didnt mention that it is BPA free. Chickpeas are quite firm out of the can so you can boil them to make them softer.

It’s a Healthy and delicious choice. Easy to cook with and it’s so convenient and versatile. Just found that there’s sulphites in the ingredient list so better rinse it with water before cooking.
