Always buy this japonica rice from RedMart, price is competitive and quality is good. Ideal for making onigiri and sushi at home. It has good aroma of rice and the texture is good if it is cooked with the right ratio of water. I always use 1 : 1.1 or 1 : 1.2 rice to water ratio.

This short grain rice tastes great. I bought it for my mum who has no teeth left. Perfectly soft and springy texture is great for old folks.
