Be careful with external filters; I don’t feel safe leaving the house with it.

I wouldn't recommend this filter. It's one of the toughest filters I've ever had to install and take apart. Here are the main issues: 1. The outer latch design isn't great; you really have to pull hard to open it. 2. The internal filter mechanism isn't designed to be user-friendly and can get stuck when you try to remove it. 3. The filtration isn't very effective; it just lets out dirty water. 4. Customer service isn't very responsive, making it hard to get help when needed.

There's some water dripping from the bottom, and the inside of the round hole isn't smooth. Not sure if it's a pressure issue or a component problem, or maybe the two black rubber rings are too small and don't seal properly. They sent me a part, and according to the video, there's a crack in a part at the bottom, but everything seemed fine. I bought a 6-watt and an 8-watt, and both had the dripping problem. When they get dirty, I just clean the filter, and everything else is fine. I hope the company can learn from this and make improvements.
