The board has some gaps that might get a bit dirty, but I've tried the second image product and it wasn't as effective as the board. It took a lot of effort to use and felt really weak. While using the board wasn't painful, this one felt very dull, and after a while, it started to hurt a bit. There were still some dead skin left over, not as clean as when I used the board. I noticed the gaps in the second product are quite large, which gets caught on the dead skin.
