Maicheng's case felt much thicker after using the thinner PDD one for two days, and its protection is undeniable. But personally, I prefer something lightweight. The best part is that it closes without any gaps, unlike the PDD one which had noticeable gaps. I think Maicheng's case is still great value. My needs have been met; it's pretty, scratch-resistant, and doesn't affect opening and closing. No need to return it and buy that 120-something case.
