Just opened this up and it’s a handy item, though it has some black marks on it.

I tested it right away at home with the 304 and 316 test solutions. I dropped them on the surface, and the 304 confirmed that it definitely isn't 201 or an older version since there was no color change at all. The 316 started to darken at the end, which is a sign of genuine 316. I feel confident using it. While the test results may not be 100% accurate, at least I feel reassured.
