The product came already prepped, and I added some lard to make it perfectly smooth. It doesn't stick at all when frying eggs or meat. After each use, I dry out the moisture and coat it with a layer of lard. If you take care of it in the beginning, it becomes even more useful later on. It's actually better than the ones from Chan Chi Kee in Hong Kong. My stove has high heat, and their pans are too thin, but this pan works really well. If I didn't have so many pans at home already, I'd get another one in 32cm.

When I got the pot, I noticed some grayish-white, non-oily spots around the bottom that looked like it had already been seasoned, which felt a bit off. I asked customer service, and they said it was the original color of the iron, but wasn't it supposed to be seasoned already? After washing and using it for a few days, it actually has a good non-stick effect when used correctly. However, every time I dry it after washing, some spots (small pits, sand holes, or textured areas) don't dry completely; in fact, they seem to get wetter the more I try to dry them. This makes me a bit worried. I get that the turtle-back texture and sand holes allow for breathability to absorb oil and form an oil film for physical non-stick properties, but if it's absorbing dish soap and then releasing it when I cook, that's not good. I asked customer service, and they just told me to use it for a few more days. But it keeps happening every time I wash it. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?
