The Korean-style ones I bought before were more useful. This one is a bit too shiny, with a mirror finish. I got it for my dog, so while he's eating, he can also check himself out in the reflection. It might be a little intimidating for shy dogs. It’s not as deep as the Korean one and doesn’t feel as sturdy. The Korean one has lasted me three years and still looks brand new. For people, it’s fine; the plate is quite thick and the edges are finished nicely. This model does have a faint 304 marking, but I haven’t tested its authenticity.
