Reviews Picard Chopped Frozen Spinach - Frozen – Real User Experiences

I have ordered the wrong item. It is supposed to be Picard Whole Spinach - Frozen. Expiry is long which is 2024-05. The manufacture date is 2022-05. Which means shelf life is 2 years from manufacturing. I received on 2023-01-24, which means it has about 1 year 3 months left considering the fact that is late January. This product is meant for adding to smoothies not as a meal food. It is a very big pack and it is good economic sense to eat portion by portion if 1 kg is more than the number of people it caters. It is quite clear that it looks different when it is pour out as compare to whole/whole leaf spinach as indicated on the third picture on the left. It is very very watery as indicated by the last picture, hence very suitable for adding to smoothie but certainly a no no for a proper meal. But it is suitable also for people who can't bite well.

Second time purchase, I wished this was ball-shaped and larger in pieces than its current form. Purchased this because of pesticide free.

The frozen Ardo leaf spinach in portions was removed by Redmart so couldn't purchase it, decided to give Picard a try, which was cheaper than Ardo, so first time purchase. Ardo came in rectangular portions, picard's portion is much smaller so it will look more like puree after cooking. Taste wise don't feel any difference between the two so this is more value for money if you don't mind the smaller pieces.

I really love this spinach. it is very useful for making stews and chickpea curry. I love that it comes in cube firm and I can just take out the portions that I need. so convenient! will buy again. Great value for money.

The product is good and as expected, I am happy with the purchase.

Easy to use and the cooked quality of it will be very very small pieces. Almost like baby food texture

The product is good and as expected, I am happy with the purchase.

Received in good condition. 1st time buying frozen veg looks a bit weird to me but taste ok normal.

Recived in good condition. product was stored in cooler bag.

If you’re using this for your green smoothies, I recommend the Chopped instead of Whole as they come in smaller pieces.
