First time buying 4 packets of short grain rice from Taiwan. Hopefully it is nice as it stated as “Top Grade Sunshine Pearl”.

Nice Pearl rice almost like Japanese rice. But better value for money. Glad redmart carries this now.

I always buy this rice because it's high quality, but this time, I have these yellow powders in the rice for the first time. I wonder what this is and if it's edible. Can you solve my curiosity?

Followed the cooking instructions. Rice is bland and very dull colour. The grains are stuck together. Not separated nor shiny. Not cheap for this quality.
