Pitted or scratched glass lens should be replaced immediately as impact resistance is severely reduced. To conferm with GB/T 5890-86 sideshields should be worn to protect from hazards from the size. Safety glasses provide limited protection and are not unbreakable. Severe impact hazards should use machine guards, faceshields, etc. In addition for proper protection.
