The corner elastic keeps the bedsheet stay still. Soft fabric, 5 feet bed sheet. Very comfortable. At first, I thought I would receive just a decent sewn product, but the actual product is great, with good corner elastic bands. However, it should be used with a mattress no thicker than 10 inches. The color isn't very bright; it looks a bit dull, but we like it.
