It came very well-wrapped and protected in a mix of cardboard and styrofoam. Beautifully vintage, just that my usual box of tissues cannot fit in, so I had to buy a smaller pack type (Pursoft brand) for it. The only thing that worries me is that there is no latch or anything that holds both top and bottom pieces together. So you have got to carry it by the top and bottom very carefully.
