just installed today.\n\na few things to take note.\n\ninstruction manual suggest using 10mm drill bit to secure the mounting plate. however the screws n wall plugs supplied doesn't work with 10mm hole. try using 8mm. luckily I hv larger screws n walls plugs. \n\nam on recirculation mode. noisy as usual even on the lowest setting. I plan to run it vented but waiting for some parts. removing the charcoal filter doesn't seem to affect the airflow much so might as well leave it on and act as a second grease trap. talking of grease trap, the one used here is barely able to trap anything. \n\n1400 cfm airflow? Don't think so.\n\notherwise it is a pretty hood.
