The 4K HDMI audio converter extracts the audio signal from HDMI video source.This audio extractor will de-embed HDMI audio streams from the connected HDMI based device to digital or analog stereo maintaining up to 4K/60 video resolutions.It is widely compatible with various kinds of devices such as gaming console,Blue-DVD Player...Important note:1)4K video transmission has very high requirement on cables connected.Pls use ATC certified Premium high speed or ultra high speed HDMI Cable to pair the video source and displays.2)ARC function is only available when your TV supports such either.And when the Arc is on, you can not control the volum via your TV remote.The correct Arc connection shall be: -Connect your TV's Arc/Earc port to the Arc port(HDMI out) of our converter and the toslink out to audio system. -Switch the Arc button on the converter to on and set the audio out mode of your TV to ARC/Earc mode.3)5.1 Mul-ti channel audio: To output 5.1CH, the input device,video source and your audio system must be capable of supporting it all.Otherwise,there will be PCM 2CH only.4) EDID Problem:For a few projectors and monitors which comes with VGA and HDMI port. You might not get audio over the toslink&stereo audio port. This is an built-in edid problem of devices.
