This qipao is quite lightweight, making it perfect for summer. It fits closely and accentuates the bust line well. Because I have a bit of extra weight around my belly, I feel it's not as suitable with a slip underneath. However, pairing it with a slip makes the hem flow more gracefully when walking. Overall, the fabric isn't thick but it's really comfortable, so I decided to keep it for myself.
