I started with the idea of ​​buying the K699B, but when I discovered the K699PRO1 with Type-C port, touch switch and pop filter for almost the same price, I certainly made the final choice. I also considered the A8 model with multi-colored LED backlighting and a great ability of headphones connection for monitoring the recording, which can be found for only $5-8 more. And if I were buying a microphone for blogging, I would probably choose the A8. But my goal is to record various musical instruments, such as acoustic guitar, piano, various woodwind instruments such as a sopilka or tin whistle, sometimes vocals (at a basic level, for this price, of course). Therefore, I chose this mic, since most sources praise it for its smooth frequency response without software-inflated frequencies, unlike the A8 with some emphasis on highs. I also really like the metal body of the K699PRO1, and the lack of backlight is better for connecting via OTG to the phone.
