More suitable and Safer for indoor use compared to lacquer-based paints. AQUEOUS IS WATER-BASED COLOR. NEED TO WORK WITH AQUEOUS THINNER OR OTHER WATER-BASED THINNER ONLY. Designed for plastic kits like Bandai Gunpla, scale model kits from Tamiya, Trumpeter, Reaval, Meng, etc. Aqueous Hobby Color is a very safe paint that has a high degree of user-friendliness. More suitable for indoor use compared to lacquer-based paints.

How to Use: It is not necessary to dilute Aqueous Hobby Color for brush painting as a basic rule, but if using an airbrush to spray Aqueous Hobby Color, dilute the paint with 100 to 150% Mr.Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 0r T-111).The thinner contains alcohol for faster drying, though the Aqueous Hobby Color may be diluted with tap water. It also improves adhesion to the paint surface. And it can be used to wash airbrushes and brushes too.

When brush painting, generally 1 to 2 coats are recommended, and 2 to 3 coats when using an airbrush. If painting a light color over a darker base surface, more coats of paint may be required.

*[IMPORTANT] For Resin Parts, apply primer before painting with Aqueous Hobby Color. When painted on ABS resin parts, the paint penetrates into the resin and the parts become friable or develop cracks. Aqueous Hobby Color is designed for plastic kits like Bandai Gunpla, scale model kits from Tamiya, Trumpeter, Revell, Meng, etc.
