If you have a bit of a belly, I'd suggest going one size up. I followed the weight guidelines for sizing, but it fits a bit snug. It's a high-waist style, so it's really uncomfortable when you sit down; it feels tight around the stomach area. I'd recommend getting a size up. I didn't return mine because I usually wash these kinds of fitted clothes before trying them on, so I'm just making do.
