JBL Grip - Compact Bluetooth speaker with bold JBL Pro Sound and ambient light

Got them during the 11.11 sale at a great discount and items were promptly delivered 2 days later. I had planned to place them on my office desk. \n\nThey are really small! Like about the size of a regular can of coke. I tested them upon receipt (first single, then paired) and the sound was good. Definitely can feel the bass but separation between mids and treble not much cos it's a single driver unit. The sound is surprisingly loud enough (I barely get past 40%). Do note these are not intended to play your Tidal playlist at high fidelity.\n\nThey sound a whole lot better when paired and offer nice immersion for a small space i.e workdesk, small bedroom. I have to say the JBL app is the easiest audio app that I have used. Connection and pairing is seamless and effortless. It should be good for outdoor use i.e on bikes, bags albeit not for very large gatherings.\n\nThese are extremely good for casual listening and for when you need to boost the sound from your phones or laptops. They are also aesthetically pleasing cos of the lighting effects and can create a nice atmosphere, especially in dimly litted rooms.\n\nOverall a very nice product from JBL that performs what I expected.
