On June 23rd at 11 am, I filled the container with 2kg of ice cubes from the supermarket (each bag contains 1kg), and then left it for 24 hours to check how much remains. Currently, the room temperature is around 30°C without air conditioning. If after 24 hours, two-thirds of the ice is still there, it means it has good cooling retention. Last time I tried with just 5 small ice cubes, and they melted into water in 4 hours, probably because there was too little ice. So this time, I filled it to the top. If it melts quickly again, there's no point in trying again. If less than half remains, it's not doing well in terms of cooling. I also compared it with two other thermos brands called 'Heshu'. The yellow-blue one I've used for over a year has an average cooling effect, holding about 600g of irregular ice because of its loose lid, which typically leaves half the ice after 24 hours in 30°C. The black-green one has better insulation with double layers but a smaller space, holding about 400g of ice, and retains about 80% of it after 24 hours in 30°C. ======== On June 24 at 7 am (I couldn't wait any longer), I checked the container and found about half the ice melted. Its cooling isn't too bad but doesn’t match the other two bottles.
