I used to have a smooth experience with spinning reels without any line tangles. This time, I'm trying out a baitcasting reel. The feel is good, but getting used to it is key; otherwise, every cast is silent. I've just picked up a few techniques and need to practice more, but I can cast a decent distance now. It's quite cost-effective. Haven't caught any fish yet, but the included lure seems a bit large.

I've been using the spinning reel for a while, and it was smooth with no issues. This time, I tried the drop reel, and it feels good, but I need to get used to it. If I don’t, it can be a bit quiet when casting. I'm just starting to get the hang of some techniques, and I still need to practice more, but I can already cast a decent distance. The included lures seem a bit larger, but overall it’s a good experience so far.
