Not all Cordyceps supplements are the same. Most Cordyceps supplements in the market are derived from liquid fermentation of Cordyceps Sinensis. This involves the harvesting of Cordyceps Mycelium which is the vegetative part of the fungus, consisting of a network of fine, thread-like structures. No fruiting body is developed. As such, liquid fermentation results in only the vegetative part of the Cordyceps being delivered to the consumer. There is no fruiting body that the consumer may have believed to be consuming.Cordyceps Militaris is another species within the Cordyceps family. Cordyceps Miltaris is also known as caterpillar fungus and has a distinctive orange to reddish-orange fruiting body. The cultivation process includes solid substrate cultivation which results in the formation of actual fruiting body (Stroma) which are then harvested. With cultivated Cordyceps Militaris, the product is actually derived from the fruiting body. Timo Cordyceps Emperor is derived from the cultivation of Cordyceps Militaris. Each capsule contains 450mg of pure Cordyceps Militaris. There are no fillers or other compounds. Cordyceps Militaris produces the health-supporting compound Cordycepin (3ʹ-deoxyadenosine) in much higher amounts when compared to the more common Cordyceps Sinensis. Timo Cordyceps Militaris has 10 times more active ingredients (Cordycepin & Adenosine) than wild Cordyceps Sinensis, and has a guaranteed concentration of Cordycepin standardized minimum 0.4%.Timo cultivates its own Cordyceps Militaris in-house. The cultivation is carried out in a 100K Clean room environment.
