Using row-column scanning, it can display any 64-pixel character, such as numbers. The kit includes a pre-programmed microcontroller. Upon power-up, it displays: vertical row-by-row illumination → full-screen illumination with 2 flashes → horizontal row-by-row illumination → sequential countdown display of characters 9-0 for advertising. This sequence repeats. To modify the display content, omit soldering the included microcontroller. Instead, inject control signals via interface JP1 to display custom content.
