The durable, non-shoe sole is great! My 96-pound Alaskan dog tried them for the first time while wearing a tracking device, and we walked 3.5 kilometers without running. When we got home, I noticed the soles had worn down quite a bit. After one more wear, they might not hold up, so I wouldn’t recommend them for medium to large dogs, but they might work for small dogs under 10 pounds for a few more uses.

The shoes are made with great attention to detail. I have a suggestion: the rubber soles, while durable, feel a bit hard and thick, which might make it tricky for dogs to grip while running. I get that finding materials that are both tough and soft at a reasonable cost is a challenge for manufacturers. Also, I think the shoe design is a bit too straight; the angle between the ankle and the foot is nearly flat, which can make it hard for dogs to keep their feet secure in the shoes—they tend to slip out after a few steps. Tightening the straps helps, but it might not be the most comfortable. It would be great if brands could create designs that better match the natural shape of a dog's foot since they do have heels.
