Huaersi | Elderly-friendly Armchair

Was lured by the price and the nice photo, but the chair didn’t arrive assembled and did not even contain any installation guide. There were marker marks on parts of the chair frame, rough patches that needed further sanding, scratches, uneven finishing… it felt like an item that didn’t quite pass QC, which is a pity because it looks like it has the potential to be a beautiful and functional item if finished properly, and has already been shipped all the way here. \n\nDecided to return the package in the end due to concerns about self-assembly, what if I didn’t do it right and the chair falls apart when someone sits on it? The chair is also marketed as an elderly friendly chair, so I was actually planning to give it to a senior. Wouldn’t it be disastrous if the chair is not properly assembled? Also, if the seller is intending to sell slightly defective items at lower prices, it would be better to be upfront about it on the product page, then at least it would match the buyers’ expectations — some people might not mind buying as-is items at lower prices…
