☕ WDT Espresso Distribution Tool — Product Introduction😖 Ever pulled a shot that tasted sour and thin — no matter how perfectly you dialed in your grind? You weighed your dose to the tenth of a gram. You nailed the grind size. And still, the espresso ran fast on one side, slow on the other, and finished watery and sharp. That's not your skill failing you. That's channeling — the single most common enemy of a great shot.🔬 Here's what's happening inside your portafilterFresh coffee grounds clump together and trap tiny air pockets and uneven density. When you pull the shot, pressurized water does what water always does — it finds the path of least resistance.💧 Instead of saturating the puck evenly, it drills channels through the weak spots. The result:What happens        Why🟤 Some grounds are over-extracted                         Water rushes through the weak channels⚪ Some grounds are barely touched                         Water bypasses the denser spots entirely😣 Sour, bitter, and hollow — all at once                         Extraction is wildly uneven💡 A physicist's simple fixFor years, baristas fought this with tamping tricks and expensive grinders. Then, in 2005, a physicist and home-espresso enthusiast named John Weiss posted a deceptively simple idea on a coffee forum:🪡 Before tamping, stir the dry grounds with a set of fine needles to break up every clump and redistribute the coffee evenly. The coffee community named it after him —⭐ The Weiss Distribution Technique, or WDT🎯 Why it matters so muchBecause WDT fixes the problem at its source — before water ever touches the puck.Break up the clumps, even out the density, and water has no weak spot left to exploit.✅ Espresso pros consistently rank it as the highest-impact upgrade✅ Lowest-cost improvement you can make to your setup✅ The difference between hoping for a good extraction and engineering one🏆 What you get🥄 Better distribution⚖️ Even extraction😋 A sweeter, fuller, more balanced cup — every single timeGive you the one upgrade that makes every other part of their setup finally taste the way it should.👉 And that's exactly what our WDT tool is built to deliver.Bullet Points:Automated WDT distribution — place and go, no manual stirring required12 concentric, bi-directional needles for even, repeatable puck densityAlternating rotation minimizes centrifugal channelingFits standard 58mm straight-wall portafilter basketsNot compatible with three-tab basketsNot compatible with Non-straight-wall basketsNot compatible with Portafilter handles exceeding 70mm in diameter500mAh built-in battery, USB Type-C charging, 2,000+ uses per full charge6 spare needles included — quick-swap replacement, trimmableThe WDT needles extend approximately 22mm into the basketIf you use a low-dose basket and the needles touch the bottom, you may trim the needles to a shorter lengthStable four-leg base keeps the tool centered during operation⚠ READ BEFORE USEDo not disassemble the device beyond the needle module.
