[Gnomon Watches] Dievas Maya MK III Sealab Blue

The Dievas Maya MK III Sealab Blue brings the brand’s tactical tool-watch DNA into a more compact and wearable 40.5mm format, while keeping the overbuilt engineering of the Maya line. The German-made multi-piece case measures 40.5mm wide, 13.8mm thick and 49mm lug to lug, with a slimmer profile and curved lugs that increase wrist contact by up to 36%, allowing the watch to sit flatter and more comfortably on a wide range of wrists. At the heart of the design is a true sandwich dial: a lower layer fully coated with luminous material and an upper blue dial with cut-out indices so the lume shines through. This construction creates a cool stencil effect and can glow more evenly and intensely than many printed dials. The Sealab Blue features a refreshing blue sunburst finish that ties in with its sporty blue-red colour theme, giving the watch a dynamic, modern character while maintaining clear legibility. The case is fully bead blasted to a matte tactical finish and treated with a hard DLC coating, increasing surface hardness to roughly three to four times that of 316L stainless steel for enhanced scratch and corrosion resistance. On top sits an extra-clear Swiss sapphire crystal and a 120-click ceramic timing bezel with 30 deep grooves for easy grip; the bi-tone blue-red bezel insert is one of the key visual highlights and can be swapped for other colours via the side screws, allowing owners to customise the look without sacrificing water resistance. A screw-down crown and caseback, together with an automatic helium escape valve (HEV) on the crown side, give the Maya MK III Sealab Blue individually tested 1000m / 3000ft water resistance. Inside beats the proven Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, modified and adjusted to Dievas specifications for reliable accuracy and long-term serviceability. The watch is fitted with an H-link metal bracelet in matching sand-blasted finish, using screw links and an on-the-go extendable clasp that reinforces its role as a tough daily beater. The bracelet can be easily removed to fit other straps, staying true to the Maya reputation as a strap monster packed with technology in a versatile 40.5mm size.
