In the summer, my feet tend to sweat, and I used to notice a sour smell in my shoes. But since switching to linen, it absorbs sweat really quickly, keeping my shoes dry all day. When I get close to the insoles, all I can smell is the natural linen scent, no odors at all. The thickness is just right, not too tight or slippery. I've bought it multiple times already!
