This steamer is really useful and powerful! It can steam ribs to fall-off-the-bone tenderness in just half an hour. It's compact on the outside but surprisingly roomy inside—big enough to fit large plates. It would be nice if one of the steam racks were a bit deeper and another more standard-sized. The steaming bowl is a little tall, so it doesn't fit well under the lid. The frame and bottom of the steaming rack are one piece, so you can't stack them to add height.

The quality is good, it steams food quickly and produces a lot of steam, very practical. One layer is enough for a small family.
