The metal filter I used before easily got tea stains, but this purple clay filter set is so much easier to clean. The filter has no complicated nooks and crannies, so whether it's strong black tea or Pu-erh, the tea stains soften with just a soak in warm water, and I can easily wipe it clean. After washing, it drains well and doesn’t hold water, so there’s no musty smell. Daily cleaning is quick and effortless. 👍
